Sales growth at the UK arm of AO World slowed in the third quarter despite record trading over the Black Friday season in November.
In a trading update that also covered the Christmas period the online electrical goods retailer said that revenues in the UK had grown by 4.4 per cent over the three months to the end of December.
Sales in its biggest market were boosted by a three-week period of discounted offerings around Black Friday in November. With LED TVs particularly popular, it helped AO World to report its highest sales to date for that month, it said.
