James Maddison denied Claudio Ranieri victory against the club he led to the title but could not wipe the smile from the Fulham manager’s face.
Maddison, the Leicester City midfielder, struck after 75 minutes as Fulham’s inability to keep a clean sheet cost them again.
Ranieri was looking for a second win in three matches since taking over at Fulham, and a victory against the side he guided to the Premier League crown in 2016 looked on the cards when Aboubakar Kamara fired them ahead.
But Fulham are not the only club in the entire English league without a clean sheet all season for no reason, and some familiar sloppy defending ensured that they came away with just a point.
