A magician and a church warden have been arrested for a second time for questioning over the deaths of a retired English master and a former head teacher.

Peter Farquhar, 69, and Ann Moore-Martin, 83, were found dead in the village of Maids Moreton, near Buckingham. They lived three houses apart and died within 18 months of each other.

Ben Field, 27, a church warden who lodged with Mr Farquhar, was arrested yesterday alongside Martyn Smith, 31, a magician, who is from Cornwall. Both were initially held in January on suspicion of murder, fraud and burglary. They remain on bail until November 15.
